Christmas Day 2010

Santa definately came to our house (and made a few extra stops at Gran and PawPaw's house and Aunt Kiki's house). I'm so glad that man in the red suit has GPS.

That morning, Matthew came and snuggled with us in bed for a little bit and we put out his presents from Santa. A tradition from my family is that my brother and me always had to run into together to the living room to see what Santa bought. I found myself doing that with Matthew as well.

Then we got to open presents from Mom and Dad. It was just fun seeing him be involved in the process...pulling things out of his stocking, ripping the paper, and playing with his toys along the way.

Playing with my new front end loader
This truck is Awesome!!!

Digging in my stocking--I got a hot wheels
Playing with all my little toys..he's so freaking cute.
Opening my new tool bench with Daddy

While, I was getting ready, Daddy and Matthew ate donuts together. He obviously had a good time.
He was pointing to the donut. He is able to identify alot of things.
Sheer excitement!! (and powdered sugar)

After our Christmas together, we packed up and went ALL THE WAY across town to Gran and PawPaws, where it looked as though Toys R Us threw up in their living room. Grandparents role= spoiling the grandkid...and you know what, I'm okay with that. Matthew is very loved and it was good to be with them to share in the excitement as he opened and played with everything. It is always better when you can see the person open the present in front of you.

Getting my stocking goodies...I needed a little assistance from Mommy

Entertaining...it's a rough life
Playing with my fire truck from Tim and Sam
I thought I would enjoy my Mega Blocks better in the box
Helping Daddy open his new golf bag
PawPaw and Matthew have been known to take naps together. So they got a Pillow Pet for Christmas to share. Here they are testing it out. So cute! They are best buds.
Matthew got his very own chair for Christmas and he loved it. Climbed all over it and enjoyed having something his size.
Again, its more fun to play in the box of toys
I got lots of snuggle time with my Uncle Tim
And my PawPaw, who had matching PJs for Christmas

On the day after Christmas, we spent it hanging out with David's family. I managed to not take a single picture while we were there. But I assure you we were having fun playing with Maci and Matthew. Thanks Mark and Kari for hosting and we look forward to next year.
