We've finally reached the last month. Hopefully, within 30 days, we will either be holding our baby boy or still bringing him into the world. I've had a feeling for a while that he will come early, don't know why, but just have, we'll see. (It could just be that lovely pregnancy heartburn).
I've learned so much throughout this pregnancy about myself, David, and other people. HEre are some things I've learned while being pregnant...
A small human (some call them babies) can totally steal your heart without having met you;
Hearing your babies heartbeat sure is reassuring...hearing your husband reinact the sound is funny;
People have lots of useless information that they love to impart onto pregnant women;
You find out who your friends are;
The dreaded "Thank you notes" are back;
Pillows take up ALOT of room in the bed;
Going to bed can be fun, when I nightly construct the "fort" I sleep in;
Matthew can move and is a wiggler (we call them his two-a-day practices);
The Cowboys are more exciting this year knowing we're going to deliver their future star (sorry Romo-Homo);
People are more generous than I can imagine;
God is bigger than me and has a crazy, wild imagination;
Modesty is no more;
I have the best husband a woman could dream of who will now become the best daddy;
Fashion for pregnant women is tough...and not diverse, but not your mother's moomoo;
David can actually light up a room with his pride when he talks about Matthew;
Adam should have gotten the extra rib, not Eve, so there would be more room for expansion;
Nothing will strengthen a marriage more than bringing a child into the world;
Grandparents can be just as excited as parents;
Matthew will be a mama's boy...and already is;
And many, many, MANY more things...
Looking forward to seeing how things play out this month. Thanks for the support and we'll update you on how things are going tomorrow after the doctor.
Ps. I'm feeling better for those that saw that I was sick. Just an itchy nose, but back to 100%.

I agree with everything you said here, as well as the thing about the pillows. When I started sleeping without them again Brent mentioned how much bigger our bed felt now that the pillows were gone. :) We can't wait to meet Matthew! Love you guys!
Glad your feeling better! Too bad this last month can't go by as quickly as the first. I know you're ready to not be pregnant anymore, but even more than that you're ready to meet your little man. I must say, I'm quite excited to meet him myself. It's been quite some time since I've held a fresh one :)
I'm so glad you are feeling better! Tim and I are definitely excited about meeting Matthew. If you need anything let us know!
