This year was a great time of relaxing for Thanksgiving and really trying to instill in our boys all that we have to be thankful for. On Thanksgiving morning, the whole family went to deliver breakfast to the police station. This was our act of service for the day and we plan to do the same on Christmas morning. We wanted them to be served as they were not with their families that day.
We then made a stop at Starbucks and enjoyed some coffee and breakfast.
Thanksgiving day was spent with my family and consisted pretty much of the picture below....chilling.
My Old Souls
Matthew colored our placemats and everyone had their own personal one.
More relaxing
This little guy was a great addition to our Thanksgiving festivities.
We then spent the next day with David's family and enjoyed running around outside with Maci and Luke.
Just chatting.
On Saturday, we met my parents for the Lorena Christmas parade. After two days of playing HARD and no nap, this boy was tired and acted like he was going to sleep pretty much the whole parade. After a little lunch he perked up but not for long.
We have much to be grateful for and pray we have a spirit of Thanksgiving every day.
