Clowning Around

The other day the Hewitt library hosted some clowns from the circus. Since Gaga had just emailed me that she had gotten us tickets for the upcoming circus in July, I thought it would be great to take Matthew and get him excited about that.  They did tricks and read the Dr. Suess book "If I Ran the Circus".

Ever have those moments where you just tear up because your kid is getting so big...I do!! This was one of them when they invited the kids to sit up front and he boldly left me and walked up there, found his own seat, and sat quietly the whole time. Whew!! My big boy.

And now we have our own clown nose to practice with before we head to the circus.
