On Friday, I took Matthew to the doctor to follow up on his ear infection. It's all clear! Great news. While we were there I talked to our doctor about his diet and adding in milk products. He said go ahead since he's done well tolerating me adding dairy back to my diet. So, for dinner, Matthew got some cheese and then the next day got some yogurt. This will open up some variety in his diet as well. He tolerated it all well and seemed to enjoy those new foods.
On Saturday, we celebrated the First birthday of "the girls" (as we call them). Our dear friends triplets had their first birthday, and we were there to help celebrate. Their mom did a great job of decorating and organizing for the Dr. Suess party. The girls were Thing 1,2 and 3 and the cake was amazing.

Later in the day, Matthew went to his second Baylor football game, but his first one at Floyd Casey. David's work had their annual tailgate that day so we hung out there as well.

But I'll give you one more smile
He was sooooo tired but was a champ and was really cute throughout the whole day in his Baylor gear. He wasn't too sure about the cheering, but he was definately enjoying all the things to look at. We only stayed for the first quarter and he passed out before I got out of the parking lot with him. I wasn't too far behind him going to sleep once we got home. It was good to be together for one more day on Labor Day and we just enjoyed relaxing. We're just so proud of who Matthew is becoming and the great joy he brings our family.
