Wow, you have grown!
Here's a few things big M has accomplished in the last month:
- Eats every 4 hours: 6:30, 10:30, 2:30 and 6:30.
- He is all boy as he enjoys his eating...and starts fussing if its not shoveled in there fast enough.
- He eats all the fruits and vegetables and is not picky about anything yet. He eats about a 1/2 cup of cereal in the morning and fruits and veggies at dinnertime.
- He rolls over all the time and loves to do that in his bed when he's going to sleep.
- He can literally light up a room with his smile and laugh. And he has become quite the flirt!
- He's got 2 teeth and we think he's working on some more.
- He loves the dog and laughs at her all the time, especially when she barks.
- He talks alot and loves to hear himself. Of course, mom and dad love to hear him as well.
- And of course, he continues to be the star of our family and grow our family in ways we never could imagine.
- I've realized that Matthew is resilient and is adaptable, therefore, I can be too.
- I'm the best mom Matthew will ever have but sometimes the best thing I can do is take a break and have others help.
- I can be pretty level headed and calm and when I'm not I have a great husband who helps be get recentered again.
- A 2 mile run with a stroller is as hard or harder than a 3.5 mile run without. I'm giving myself extra points when I run with Matthew.
- I absolutely love being a mom and find myself longing for my time with Matthew when I'm at work. I find myself wanting to encourage other mom's anytime I can since now I know what it is and how our children totally fill our hearts. Way to go Mom's...you are absolutely the best mom your child could ever have!
- It is tough leaving your child in someone else's care all day. But nothing has strengthened my prayer life and faith more than doing that very thing.
- Matthew is the next best thing to David and it is a cool feeling knowing I got two guys that love me and respect me.
- I have 100% confidence in my son and his abilities already and I know that David and I are his best advocates.
- I get more and more convinced that one kid may not be so bad!
- Life will never be the same, but I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Happy 6 months, Matthew!!! I know your Mommy and Daddy love you very much. I look forward to the day I can meet you. Your mom and I used to ride to school together...my dad was always running early and I know your mom wasn't a fan of the early mornings but I loved getting to know her! I can't believe you are half way to being 1 year old!!!!!
Such a precious guy! I'm so glad I got to see him last weekend! We need to see ya'll more :)
