Doctor Visit

We met this evening with Dr. Dunn for our appointment. We are currently being rotated through all the doctors in the practice in order to get to know them in case they deliver us. Dr. Dunn was the last one for us to meet and we were very pleased with him. He was very encouraging and took time to answer our questions.

Everything is measuring right on track with me and Matthew. Dr. Dunn said I was doing well, he stated "It's just like you were reading the textbook for pregnancy." That was encouraging to me and David. Matthew's little heart is beating away and every time we hear it it steals a little piece of our heart. We're so excited to meet him and love on him.

He did state that I needed to get the flu shot, as that is getting advertised around work at the hospital. I wasn't sure if I was to get it or not, and I am. This may be the first year David gets the shot too, we'll see, I'm not placing money on it.

So, nothing alarming or unusual, praise God. We go back in 2 weeks to see Dr. Patterson, our doctor. It seems like forever since we've seen her, so we are excited about talking and planning with her for our delivery. We have lots of questions that we are bringing from when we took our childbirth classes to discuss with her.

Tonight, my project was to get all the tags off of everything we've received that needs to be washed. Success!!!  Tomorrow the large pile of clothes, towels, sheets, etc will be washed for the first time. We spend a little time each night just sitting in Matthew's room talking about him and saying a little prayer for him.

Thank you for your continued support. We are enjoying this and it is nice knowing we've got people rooting for us.

More to come when my random thoughts arrive...
