We headed over to Lions Park early evening and spent about an hour and a half there doing all different things. The favorite...the train ride. My son has a slight obsession with trains.
This is now my favorite picture of these two
Taking it all in
Waving at all the people
He was focused the whole way, soaking it all up
After our train ride we got a few tickets and let him ride the rides they had there. We weren't sure how he would do on his own, but he was a champ and acted so big and brave. Blame it on being pregnant, but at one point I leaned over to David, with tears in my eyes, and said "When did our little guy get so big?!?!" This is a fun age.
He kept yelling "Naah" while riding this
Making this horsey go faster
Captain of the boat
This one went up and down
I believe this was the moment of recognizing my son was big and way high in the air.
He wanted to ride this truck out of all the rides, luckily mom keeps all her loose change in her purse
Riding the carousel
Don't eat me!!!
This was great, cheap, entertainment for about an hour and a half and then we went to dinner and talked all about what we did. My family is such a blessing to me and its fun when we have these moments to just truly focus on each other and have quality time together. As we anticipate Jellybean's arrival we'll look forward to sharing more memories.
