I'm fairly certain Matthew is the next Clark Griswold when it comes to Christmas decorating and everything Christmas. We can only hope Taylor shares his same obsession with Frosty, Santa, lights and Christmas songs!!!!
Christmas Eve we spent time at home getting ready for the jolly ol' man. Taylor was so excited he went to bed around 6:30pm and dreamed of sugar plum fairies.
Then, a little reindeer, I mean, target practice.
David had bought a gingerbread house kit at the store so construction took place for that.
Then it was putting out reindeer food and cookies and milk for Santa. Matthew was really concerned about Santa's comfort as he had to put his chair there for him to sit in and then went and got his blanket off his bed for him to use as well.
This is the Reindeer Dance, in case you didn't recognize it
With everyone tucked in and snoozing away, Santa and his elves got busy at our house
Merry Christmas Morning!!! Here they come.
Matthew was REALLY into unwrapping presents this year, so he got to unwrap most of them, including his brothers.
Taylor chilled most of the time
Check out my new jumping seat Dad.
Can we go back to bed?!?!
Matthew got lots of Radiator Springs (aka Cars) characters. He was in heaven, and still is.
We finally got the attention to the bike and tried it out. It rained pretty much all day or was really cold so we did a lot of riding our new bike around inside.
Sporting our new Cowboys helmet.
These are the best Christmas present a mom could ever ask for
Then we ate our breakfast that Frosty left for us...Donut Snowmen and fruit candy canes.
Then, we were off to go over the river and through the woods to GaGa and Papa's house.
Big train tracks for when we come and play at their house
Watching football, playing football, that's what Christmas is all about right?!?!
Later that night it was a little clearer so we bundled up after dinner and tested out the bike. It was a success but cold.
Merry Christmas 2012!!! What a year and could not have happened without the grace and joy given to us by one little baby that came many years ago. He may have been small then, but He sure has a huge gift for those that choose to believe.
