Going on a Hunt

Being a mom of two boys now, I'm realizing there will be things I will have to let my 3 boys do together and simply accept them. Shooting guns is one of those things. I'm not against guns, they have their purpose. But I guess knowing that your son is big enough to hold one, understand one, and shoot one means he's getting big and accomplishing those milestones along the way.

David took Matthew this past Sunday afternoon to the deer lease with the goal of letting him shoot a gun. I worried some, but quickly took advantage of a quiet house, at least while Taylor was snoozing. That part of "Guy Time" I can sure get used to.  Shortly after sending David a text "Is everyone still ok?" I got this picture.

When did he get this big? I know he was having a blast and he talked non stop about it when he got home. David said when they shot the gun Matthew said "That's loud Daddy. It's going to wake up brother."

Twins...I can't wait until Taylor is able to run around with these. Matthew and Taylor are so blessed to have a Daddy that wants to be with them and can play just as good as they can.

This is what happens after a long day of "hunting".
