We had a great few days with just our family and extended family. Matthew loved having both his mommy and daddy around. He said alot "Go around with Mommy and Daddy." He definately had all the attention from both of us. Having David home from work for a few days also added to the fun as well.
On Thanksgiving morning, we initiated a McKown Turkey Trot and were joined by a couple friends for that. We ran about 6 miles and then got ready to go back over to my parents. This will be a tradition we'll look to do every year and hopefully in several years, Matthew will be using his own two legs with us.
We had a relaxing Thanksgiving day with family, about 9 hours of football, and just being. I had been missing my family, even though their 10 minutes away, just because we hadn't seen each other so it was nice to be in their company. We also had Aunt Susan, Sara and our friend Connie join us this year, which added to the fun.

Happy boy...so fun to have around
The spread.
On Friday, we spent the day with David's family. We went to a late breakfast at Harold Waites and then went to see Happy Feet. Maci, Luke and Matthew all adore each other so it was great to be focused on their activities and watch them have fun together. Later that night we spent time with them again, after much needed naps, and had a relaxing time then as well.
He loves him some popcorn

I recommend this movie
Definately kept his attention. Maci and Matthew were also dancing with the penguins in the aisles.
Happy cousins
Uncle David got them all
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and truly try to believe in the spirit and meaning all year long.
