Little Vacation

This weekend we took off to Kerrville to spend some time just the three of us. With David being busy with work in early September, we were grateful for some family time without distraction or responsibility. My aunt and uncle have a beautiful home that we were able to stay at and we never left there all weekend.

This was our view from the back porch each day...

This almost made me want to live out in the country...almost. The hills were killers out there. I went for a long run Saturday and thought I was in the mountains. Definately the Hill Country.

They braved the cooler pool water and had a blast. Matthew would keep coming out of the water to warm up with me. (Note: We forgot Matthew's swim suit...) 

It was a great time of relaxation and fun without the distractions of life. We look forward to doing this again.
