Nature in Lights

This Friday, we decided, somewhat impromptu, to take Matthew to see the Nature in Lights in Belton. This kid loves lights and is always showing them to us and making sure you know that he knows the lights are on.
Here we are about to take off in anticipation of what this adventure may hold...



So we are off. We ate dinner in the car in order to get there in plenty of time to see all the lights before little man ran out of energy. What a treat. We arrived and are ready to see the show.

Since we were going so slowly through the park, Matthew got to get out of his seat and sit up front with us. He even helped Mommy drive at one point.

Elves dancing...all the lights moving was definately fun for Matthew. He kept pointing and smiling. Just looked in awe of it the whole time.

And when we were done, we got a fresh diaper, Christmas PJs, and before we were back on the main road, he was out!

It truly is more fun at Christmas with a little one to see enjoy the festivities.
