Happy Birthday Pops!!!

Saturday was my daddy's birthday...65 years young!!  We drove down to Austin to meet with other family at the Salt Lick BBQ place there. The food was really good, best ribs I've had in a while. Matthew did great in the car, as always, just slept away. It was good to be with family.

Of course, Matthew was the best present we could give my dad for his birthday. We were talking on the way down there that a year ago for my dad's birthday we announced that we were expecting. It was nice to have Matthew here and a part of things. Matthew also turned 4 months on Saturday, so they had that to share together as well.

Daddy, Happy Birthday!! You deserve the world for as much as you have sacrificed for our family. You are a true leader, a man of integrity and have always been a picture to me of how God loves me as you love on your "little girl". Thanks for all you do for our family and we're looking forward to many more years to come. Don't forget to show off the Medicare card the government gave you for your birthday....ha!!!
