The Spice of Life II: New Title and More

Some of you may have noticed that I changed the title of my blog to "The Spice of Life II", The story behind that is that my mother, when we lived in Oklahoma, wrote a news column for the paper called the Spice of LIfe. She wrote about our family and her reflections about it...much like is done in this blog. So, I thought I would carry on the tradition and name mine the same. Hopefully I'll get a chance to share some of her stories on here from her column.

Matthew and I have been having a blast on my days off!!! He was sick from about last Wednesday to Tuesday. He stlil has the rements of a cough but it is much better. He was a champ throughout his sickness. He has really started smiling a lot more. Last night he was laying on my legs and was just laughing and smiling...everytime I laughed he would laugh harder. David was at a recruiting event so I called and left a message on his phone of Matthew laughing...it was too cute not to share.

Today we have just been having fun with each other and loving on each other. Here are some pictures of him and his tummy time. He is really getting strong, he uses the Bumbo chair, his exercauser and loves to stand. Once he figured out standing that's all he wanted to do. He weighed 14.75 lbs at the doctor earlier this week. He is consistenly sleeping 8 hours...we're working towards 10-12 hours. For a 3 month old he is doing great...and every day makes me grateful he is a part of our family.

The posts have been slow because I got this cute guy to play with.

How long do we have to do this???
