Happy Birthday David!!!

Happy Birthday David!! You are getting soooooo old...ha! 28 years you've been on this earth and you have put quite a dent in it. I have been blessed to enjoy going on 10 years with you and look forward to many more. Today is your special day.

You've already been surprised with cinnamon rolls and coffee for breakfast from your two biggest fans. We'll have your big celebration tomorrow night when Matthew and I will prepare your dinner and cake!! I may even let Matthew do the icing.

You have brighten my life and the lives of many others. You truly are a selfless guy and genuine to the core. Your laugh is contagious and you have a sense of inner confidence and humility that many people respect. You have deep pride in your family and your work and you do a great job at balancing both of those things. You know how to support me and love me with a love I never knew and that only gets better. You know who you are and that you belong to a God who directs your path. You are always ready to help anyone and will go out of your way to help them. You lead people well and do so with humility and respect for their thoughts as well. You have become what you wanted to be professionally, work your rear off doing it, and have accomplished many things and many more to come. You have been married to me for 5 years...I think you should get the shining gold star for that accomplishment. We have gotten closer and you have become a better best friend, a strong husband, and a faithful, dedicated and hilarious father.

You are obsessed with the Dallas Cowboys and have shoved that obsession now down your son's throat...but I think he likes it. You get giddy around your son. You beem with pride when you have him in your arms. You are happy, even if the day was rough, when you come home to him. You love to snuggle with him and play with him. Your inner child comes out when you start to play with him. You dream about the days when you will teach him to through a ball, work on cars together, and wrestle on the floor. You have become the daddy that God intended for you to be. You have committed your life to your family and your son will always know "I'm safe in Daddy's arms."

Happy Birthday David!! You deserve everything in the world today...you have given your life away as a gift to everyone who comes into contact with you. Thank you for sharing with me and others and sit back, relax, have a beer and today...is your day!!!
